Best Infographic of 2011
Last week we presented SodaHeads with some of the most popular infographics of 2011 to give you a chance to see them all in one place and to vote on the best one. Topics ranged from the appeal of "Angry Birds" to an enlightening breakdown of Facebook demographics, and each infographic took a unique approach to their design, making for a pleasantly vibrant selection of visual information.
But only one could come out on top, and the year's most popular infographic as selected by the SodaHead community was Infographic World's "Farewell to a Genius: The Life and Times of Steve Jobs." This remarkably gorgeous timeline takes viewers from the late Apple founder's birth in 1955 through his unfortunate passing on October 5, 2011, highlighting each of Jobs' legacies, from an early Pixar investment to the revolutionary development of the iPod. If you don't have time to dig into Walter Isaacson's biography, Infographic World's entry will catch you up on the essentials.
Of course, this wouldn't be complete without depicting how SodaHeads voted on the best infographic... with an infographic! So rest your eyes and enjoy the scenery in our Best Infographic of 2011 infographic. We look forward to another year of gorgeous graphics!
